How many half-used sunscreen bottles do you have lying around?

Solmates Australia was born from a simple desire for sustainable sun protection. We hated how many plastic sunscreen bottles we and our families were using. Containers of various sizes lying around in bags, bathrooms and cars. We tried minimising our footprint by buying sunscreen in bulk. But it left us lugging big bottles of sunscreen around.

There had to be a better way. So together we decided to create our very own Solmate. A convenient, cute, refillable sunscreen applicator that is sustainably made and beautifully designed. From a few drawings sketched out at the kitchen table, two years on and countless design refinements later our little Solmate was born.

So now you can love the sun and care for the planet. And we are not stopping there. We’re on a mission to create beautiful planet-friendly products that keep you, and those you love, safe in the sun. So watch this space.

Love Caroline & Kelly ☀️ ❤️
